Cap’t Roy’s opened in 2017 and quickly became the neighborhood pub where residents can meet their neighbors. The UPNA Spark UP team was at least partly inspired by our residents finding music-loving kindred spirits here. Stop in and meet some of our neighbors, and maybe a new friend!

Porchfest is a magical, amazing event because Union Park because such magical, amazing people live here.
The Union Park Neighborhood Association (UPNA) is a grass roots volunteer organization and is not a part of City Government. They work to preserve and strengthen the great qualities of the neighborhood, promote the area for individual and family living, foster neighborhood fellowship, and work to help the neighborhood resolve problems and meet goals.
Spark UP is a group of Union Park residents who have come together to create and put on neighborhood events, foster community, and grow relationships between neighbors who want to make a difference.
UPNA officers and Spark UP volunteers make Porchfest possible every year by tackling whatever needs to be done and having a great time doing it!
