Jack Randleman:

"I run a small design company called The House of Speed Supply & Design - tucked away on the East Side by the fairgrounds. My passion has always been storytelling - I want my art to tell a story - to evoke a feeling, to remind folks of easier days. My work is deeply rooted in vintage t-shirt and clothing inspiration, with years of working remotely in New York City as a t-shirt graphic artist.

"As a design studio, I do a lot of projects in the city and help manage Des Moines Vintage Bike Night , as well work on Coolest Bike In Town and a handful of other fun projects with the crew at Captain Roys .

"I also help host and promote motorcycle trips throughout the UP. A large majority of my passion in and out of design is in the history of motorcycle racing and riding. Hence how The House of Speed was born."

Dan Tedesco is an American singer-songwriter, musician, recording artist and producer, originally from the far west suburbs of Chicago. Raised on the classic songwriters of the 60s/70s – The Beatles , Dylan , Neil Young , Springsteen and Tom Petty – Tedesco layers those early pop/folk influences with both his deep background in jazz and the crunch of early 90s grunge. A fan recently described his live show as "bordering on performance art".

Jimmy Enos has coped with a debilitating stutter since the age of five. As a child, he found his love for music in his church’s Sunday School program, but was too self-conscious of his speech impediment to participate in its musical activities. His first opportunity to express himself musically was during a performance with his school choir at age 11. He describes the experience as a “spiritual awakening,” but his vulnerability left him traumatized. He would spend the next 17 years of his life battling drug and alcohol abuse.

Having overcome his addiction, he has learned to use music to express himself in ways that his words cannot. With a couple of EP's under his belt, a trend started for Stutterin' Jimmy to play with some of Iowa's finest musicians, such as Matt Woods and Joe and Vicki Price to name a few. Stutterin' Jimmy has opened for a few National Acts such as Rev. Payton and His Big Damn Band and Eric Tessmer .

In 2017, Stutterin' Jimmy and The Goosebumps played at 80/35 Music Festival.

Stutterin Jimmy and the Goosebumps are made up of Grady Stein on bass, Matt Cullen of the Sighs on guitar, Brian Parizek on drums and Jimmy Enos (Stutterin Jimmy) singer-songwriter.

Cedar County Cobras - American Roots & Blues

Cedar County Cobras play American Roots & Blues music from the last century. The music takes on an "old time" blues feel that would most likely be found in a juke-joint down a gravel road in rural Iowa.

Arriving with an upright bass, foot-drum, a mandolin, and a collection of guitars, this duo plays music that is best described as contagious, acoustic rockabilly swamp blues, or old-time country with the gritty sound of soulful blues!

Located in Iowa, Tom Spielbauer is the singer/songwriter for the duo and is known for his rich baritone vocals and playing slide guitar. His music partner, April Dirks , plays the boogie-blues on the upright bass.

The Cobras have played hundreds of shows across Iowa from the local brewery to large festival stages, winning the solo/duo category for the Iowa Blues Challenge and placing as semi-finalists at the 2025 International Blues Festival in Memphis.

"Creating art is, and always will be, a passion of mine"

I was a kid who grew up on the south side of Des Moines who loved to draw.

My biggest inspiration was my father, who would sit down with me at the kitchen table and we would draw the comics that were in The Des Moines Register.

It's crazy to think that one day I would create illustrations for that newspaper, and it would turn into a 30-year career.

During that time, my art appeared in a variety of newspapers and my freelance career would take off. I did illustrations for many magazines and ad agencies throughout the country.

My medium of choice has evolved over time. I began with drawing, pen and ink and painting.

Later, I would create with scratchboard and paper sculpture. Most of my art today is digital.

I've been awarded the National Cartoonists Society Newspaper Illustrator of the lear, top awards in the Dimensional Illustrators International, as well as the American Illustration Annual and the Society of Newspaper Design.

I have enjoyed illustrating childrens books, book covers and posters.

Last year I created the art for RAGBRAI'S 50th ride. That was the 8th time I would create their poster.

I continue to freelance and do personal work which has allowed me to connect with many people worldwide.

Creating art is, and always will be, a passion of mine.

16 albums in and Joshua Sinclair is just getting started. He continues to capture what life is like being a songwriter for the past 20 years, and all the highs and lows of life on the road.

After an unfortunate accident at a friend's bachelor party in 2015 which resulted in a broken knee; Josh's whole trajectory changed. Faced with not being able to walk for months, he took it as an opportunity to learn a new skill, live looping. Live looping is the recording & playback of a piece of music in real-time using a small foot pedal to capture and record song phrases on-the-fly. This became the backbone of his live show...using just a guitar, a microphone, and a loop pedal, he creates exciting & dynamic performances, a la "Keith Urban meets Ed Sheeran."

Sinclair also was the catalyst in starting up a music therapy program at a local hospital in 2018. Much like the national program, “Musicians On Call,” he wanted to bring that same kind of experience to patients to help make their hospital stay a little bit easier. The program has since expanded over the past 5 years to include other local musicians and offer more opportunities to help those in need.

Along with constant touring, in the U.S and Europe, with High and Lonesome (1992-1998;) and his current band, The Body Electric (1998-present) Zollo has recorded 7 releases of his own material, including the most recent, For Hire . The current iteration of the band is his longest running, all four members playing together for a decade or more.

In addition, he founded and operated the seminal, Iowa-based, roots music label, Trailer Records (Bo Ramsey; Joe and Vicki Price; Greg Brown; The Pines; Brother Trucker; Kelly Parkeooper; Pieta Brown, as well as his own work, and that of others, from 1994-2006;) played keyboards and sang harmonies on many records by Nashville folk singer Todd Snider; fellow Iowan William Elliot Whitmore, and Greg Brown, amongst many other artists; and worked as a producer (The Pines; Brother Trucker; Kelly Pardekooper.) In 2017, he also formed a new band with Whitmore, guitarists Stephen Howard and Steve Doyle, and Body Electric drummer Brian Cooper, called Middle Western.

Despite the many things Zollo has done during his career, it is as a live performer that many feel he's at his best.
